"Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised,

and his greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall commend your works to another,

and shall declare your mighty acts.

On the glorious splendor of your majesty,

and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds,

and I will declare your greatness.

They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness

and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.

Psalm 145:3-7 (English Standard Version)

To facilitate the transfer of and access to land ownership with integrity, convenience, and clear communication.

More on Psalm 145:

What are God’s “works” and “mighty acts” that the psalmist refers to? The psalmist here is King David. David is famous for being a great king of Israel and was even referred to by God Himself as ‘“a man after My own heart.” Although David, for the most part, ruled God’s people with faith, wisdom, and righteousness, he was not perfect and committed several heinous transgressions against both his own people and God.

David is credited with writing around half of the Psalms in the Bible. In these psalms, it becomes clear what he refers to as the “works” and “mighty acts” of God. David praises God for deliverance from his enemies, provision for His people, hearing his prayers, remembering His promises, and forgiving his sins, just to mention a few.

What Psalm 145 ultimately points to, however, is God’s greatest “work” and mightiest “act”: the sending of Jesus for the salvation of His people from sin. Jesus was not merely a great king; He is the perfect King. He was not merely another man after God’s own heart; He is God’s heart in human form. In His mercy, God showers good works and mighty acts upon His people, but the fulfillment of those gifts is found in Jesus. God’s gifts are not the ultimate object of our praise; He Himself is the object of our praise and the only One who can bring true satisfaction.

In the context of our business, the blessings of land ownership—making memories, having a place for recreation and solitude, building a home, investing—are incredible gifts, but they will never ultimately satisfy our hearts. Only reconciliation with God can do that.

The good news is that Jesus has made a way. So, together with David, we commend God’s works to you; we commend Jesus to you.
